Mental and Rare Works (Formarly mhwpublishing) is a company founded by Prof. Onur Burak Dursun, specializing in autism, child psychiatry, and rare diseases. The company provides training in evidence-based practices, publishes high-quality books and materials, and offers expert consultation to governments and institutions on neurodevelopmental disorders and rare diseases. Professor Onur Burak Dursun is a distinguished child and adolescent psychiatrist, dedicated to improving services for individuals with autism, Fragile X syndrome, rare diseases, and other mental health needs, including ADHD and specific learning disorders. He has coordinated pioneering national projects, significantly contributed to policymaking, and established services that have positively impacted millions. Notably, he is the editor of Turkey’s first National Rare Disease Action Plan and the Autism and SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Guidelines for the Turkish Ministry of Health.
